Once you’ve been accepted by the Admissions Office, log in to MAVzone to apply online for fall or spring housing. Find the "MyHousing" App and then select the correct term under "Applications/Exemption Requests." Your MAVzone username and password are assigned when you are admitted. If you have forgotten your password, call the IT Helpdesk, 970.248.2111.
The Fall 2024 Incoming Student Housing Application opens November 1st, 2023 at 9:00 am. Students are encouraged to apply early for housing. An application is not considered complete until the student (and parent/guardian if under 18) has signed The Housing and Dining Contract and paid the $200 Housing Pre-Payment/Application Fee ($150 refundable Pre-Payment, $50 non-refundable application fee). Housing assignments will be made beginning February 1st, 2024 (January 31st, 2024 for MAV Scholars). Students will be notified of their housing assignment at their CMU email.
Assignments are based on the date of receipt of the housing application, required Pre-Payment, application fee and the Residency Hall and Dining Contract. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request.
Housing Deposit Refund Timeline:

- A full refund of $150 prior to June 1 for contracts beginning fall semester and December 1 for contracts beginning spring semester.
- No refund will be given to students who provide a cancellation notice after June 1 for fall semester and December 1 for spring semester.
